description

With ClickOnce one will also be able to run the application when they're offline, not only when they're online. They'll be able to launch the application or an activity apart from locally also from a webpage (and install/update the application if the app isn't installed automatically or if the page requires newer app version etc.)

Tried CodePlex ClickOnce deployment instructions but getting:

Failed to connect to 'http://LvS.codeplex.com/releases/clickonce/' with the following error: Unable to create the Web site 'http://lvs.codeplex.com/releases/clickonce'. The Web server does not appear to have FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

maybe should use Metadata / Design Assemblies instead of DesignTime attributes for some 3d-party controls (edit their sourcecode) to avoid dependency on full .NET framework and allow dependency to the .NET Client profile instead which is a smaller download
